John traveled throughout central Illinois expanding his distribution area one personal visit at a time. In 1999, the merger with Parkinson  Oil Company brought two of the largest lubricant suppliers in central Illinois together to market both Exxon and Mobil products under the direction of CEO, Gary Morgan. The merger of Exxon and Mobil corporations enhanced product lines and streamlined supplier delivery to MDI’s customers. On March 1, 2011, Morgan Distributing, Inc. purchased Eagle Oil Company in Jackson, MO.
